Tom Thomas Tom bought this ride in November 2001 from a gentleman named George MacLean . George bought it from Rod Wright, in American Canyon, California. The car had an excellent dent free and rust free body, although very faded paint (not the original Sauterne Gold).  It is equipped with a C-6 Automatic Transmission, Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes.

John Fortini John has owned the car since 2001.  He purchased it from someone in Malden Mass.  The car was last registered in Massachusetts in 1986, and appears to have been garaged since that time.  No prior history, other than it being a Los Angeles build.  No door tag info as the door was replaced at one time.  The colors, axle ratio, and transmission have been authenticated.  Good news is that the cowl tag and fender tags were visible and were correct and original. The motor is in the middle of a rebuild.  Many performance parts including roller rocker cam and Crites headers. The body is in good condition, with a few manageable rust areas in the rear quarters, and the frame very good.  Interior was hard to tell as it was full of boxes of parts.  All of the chrome appeared to still be with the car. It would need to be redone as part of the restoration.  This car is for sale and the contact information can be found in the CARS FOR SALE section of this website.

Michael Christy This car was for sale on ebay in late 2008.  it was garaged in Palo Alto at that time.  This is a Candy Apple Red on Red automatic, built in Los Angeles, January 10th, 1966.  Engine has been completely rebuilt with only 4000 miles on the rebuild.  The paint is new as well. The only work needed is the front end, squeaks and the dash (cover pad? is aftermarket. It's been garaged, a non-smoker, and service records available. Has original hubcaps and all chrome and 7L hardware. Cool factoid on this one, it is the ONLY KNOWN CAR to come equipped with 4.11:1 locking rear end.

George Inangelo

This is a 4 speed hardtop. Originally Dark Ivy Green metallic with Ivy Gold interior. George originally purchased this car about 4 years ago then sold it to a friend who owns a body shop.  Said friend did the entire body over plus beefed up the frame. His intent was to make this a drag car but then lost interest and so he so gave it back.  Now it awaits it's turn for total restoration.

George, this will look great next to your R code XL convertible! Editor

Robert L. Mitchem This 7-litre came very standard with the 428 engine, C-6 automatic and 3.25 open rear end. The only option on the car is the AM/FM radio. It does not have A/C, P/W or P/S. Just power disc brakes and power steering which were standard. From what I can tell it has spent most of its life in North Carolina. It is still in NC at my Dad's place. I am currently in the Air Force stationed at Cannon AFB NM and I just do not have the room for it or my 66 XL. The motor and transmission have been rebuilt. The engine has a Ford motorsport cam, hooker headers and a 750 CFM Holley. I upgraded to a 3.50:1 locking rear end. It has been repainted a few times but overall is a presentable driver that I hope to one day treat to a full restoration. All the best to you Robert and thank you for your service to our country.  Editor
